We were just about a mile away from Virgil and Mary's home when I grew up.  We have fond memories of the Renfros.  Seems like when we have a need, one of them always is there.  Just a month ago Kenny & Willie sat with us at my mom's post-funeral dinner.  We remember the card clulb, and all those who were like second parents to us.  Values and morals were established in that little Macon rural community we still cherish.  Thanks to all those who were such role models.  Our condolences to all the Renfro family in their time of loss.  Mary and Juanita were such good friends for so many years, it's special to see them pass so close together in time.  From :  the Stombaughs

Mary Lee Melhorn To the Family August 9, 2010
Our deepest sympathy to all of your family,   Mary was a Special person and touched many lives.  I knew her as the mother of Kenney (my classmate), the school secretary, a good library patron, and a dear (card playing) friend of my recently departed Mother.  The "Slideshow" is a very beautiful caption of her Spirit and her happy relationship with family and friends.  May your hearts be lighter because of your special memories and Faith in knowing you will all be joined together again!

I want to express my sympathy to Mary Renfros family.  My condolence's go out to Ken and Willie Renfro and their family.  I have not been in touch with uncles, aunts and cousins , however I am trying to let them know that I care and the entire family is in my prayers!  I did not have a chance to say anything on my Grandmother Mary Armstrong / Schwartz's  passing, but I know that she is in Heaven and I had time with her before her passing.  That is what she would remember.  Time goes so fast, and hopefully all loved ones will meet some day in HIS kingdom!!!

I know Kris (Mary Renfro's grandson) from work.  I've recently come to realize how important Grandparents are.  I didn't know my grandparents but have become a grandfather in the last year.  I understand Kris was close to his grandmother and I can now see how important that relationship is.  My heart goes out to Kris and all of his family at this time.
